skhan says: The easiest souffle recipe I've ever come across. Serve this hot souffle with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 50 gms chocolate
  • 30 gms butter
  • 10 gms cocoa powder
  • 20 gms icing sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 egg yolk

Directions

Melt Chocolate & butter over hot water. Take a large bowl,add icing sugar & egg whites. Beat them together until soft peaks form. Take another bowl,add egg yolk & melted chocolate mixture and mix them well. After they are mixed well,add cocoa powder into this mixture and mix well once again. Now fold egg whites into this mixture. Spoon the mixture into souffle cups and sprinkle with icing sugar. Bake in moderately hot oven for about 5 minutes. If you don't have souffle cups, you can bake it in any deep pan but ofcourse with that you won't have individual servings!


Servings

Makes about 2 souffle cups.
